Alan Gould is co-director of HOU and planetarium director of the Lawrence Hall of Science at U.C. Berkeley. Alan has developed science education materials and curriculum for many years.  He works with K -12 teachers and students in the classroom and in informal science activities at LHS.

Carl Pennypacker is the principal investigator of HOU. This program was born out of Carl's dream to blend his loves for astronomy and education.  Carl is a research astronomer at Space Sciences Laboratory of the University of California at Berkeley, in collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.  His research focus is searching for supernovae and addressing the cosmological questions posed by very distant supernovae.

Jodi Asbell-Clarke is an educational materials developer for HOU. Jodi is employed by TERC and has been responsible for creating HOU curriculum, teacher enhancement materials, and activities for informal science education centers.  Jodi has a background in research astronomy, concentrating in star formation, and has taught high school physics and astronomy.

Andrys Basten was the project manager of HOU from June 2002 through September 2006.  

Sara Leavitt was a World Wide Web page developer and Webmaster for Lawrence Hall of Science and helped develop the HOU website.
Tim Barclay is an educational materials developer for HOU, employed by TERC and has been responsible for creating HOU curriculum, teacher enhancement materials and activities for informal science education centers. Tim has taught Math and Science and was Director of the Cambridge Friends School in Cambridge, Mass.

Vivian Hoette is an astronomy educator for the historic Yerkes Observatory, Williams Bay, Wisconsin, where she initiated an observing program in which teachers use telescopes at Yerkes Observatory. She runs HOU teacher workshops in the Chicago area and elsewhere in the Midwest, as well as in Sweden, Russia, Hawaii, and Australia. vhoette{at}yerkes.uschicago.edu
Jon Aymon has been a programmer for the Space Sciences Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, for principal investigators Luis Alvarez, George Smoot, and Hank Crawford. He finds HOU to be the most fun yet.
