HOU and WISE-SSL staff revise classroom materials and teacher guides. Staff pilot tests activities with other staff.

TRAs recruited. HOU staff conducts TRA telecons to begin development of teacher training plan.

Maintain HOU observatory collaboration

Summer 2008

Present new Asteroid Mission materials to TRAs at HOU conference and get feedback. Revise materials based on feedback.

HOU staff holds planning and training session HOU TRAs to prepare for 2-day teacher workshops

TRAs test activities in their classrooms and give feedback. Materials revised based on feedback.

HOU staff conducts TRA telecons to work out details of teacher training plan. Begin recruitment of teacher workshop participants

TRAs try revised activities, finalize training/workshop strategies.

HOU staff and TRA's finalize preparations for training new HOU teachers.  Complete recruitment of teachers. Begin 2-day workshops for new HOU teachers.
